October 3 | 1-3 PM $30 Retro Quisqueya is a curated gathering where we learn how to dance to mid to late 20th century bachata. Serving as a dance class, cultural exchange, and community building I'll teach you how to dance just as I was taught in a comfortable and safe environment where everyone should get ready to have fun while dancing. About El Divino Cosmic El Divino Cosmic is a traveling movement artist specializing in burlesque/boylesque, merengue, bachata, and salsa. With a history in movement of dancing merengue as a toddler, bachata in their childhood, karate as a pre-teen, salsa in their teens, aerial circus and ballet in their adulthood, and in 2023 they finally stepped on a stage and made their burlesque debut in Miami, FL. Currently living nomadic El Divino Cosmic has been traveling the world bringing their unique flavor of burlesque to the stage, teaching various classes and workshops, collaborating with other artists, modeling, acting, and sharing their culture through teaching Dominican dance styles.
