House of the Lorde

ABOUT THE SPACE

​Located in the heart of Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, House of the Lorde is a Black feminist art space rooted in creativity.

​

Our 800 sq ft studio features a 30 ft x 32 ft sprung dance floor—ideal for rehearsals, intimate performances, art shows, book launches, and other small gatherings.

RENTAL RATES

Rehearsals with 1-5 participants: $25–$45/hour (sliding scale)

Public Events/Rehearsals with 5+ participants: $50/hour

All booking requests must be submitted at least one month in advance.

• A mixture of seating options including Folding chairs (up to 15), floor cushions and benches

• Mini Refrigerator

• Tea station (electric kettle, tea, honey)

• Full-length mirrors

• Overhead lighting + natural light from large windows

• Private restroom (located outside studio)

• Filtered Water Fountain
