About the event
The Reading Room is a casual and creative gathering rooted in collective study.
Each month, we come together to read the work of Black feminist writers and thinkers, sit with big ideas, and open space for conversation, reflection, and connection.
February’s Reading Room begins a new study series guided by the theme Love and Difference. This series explores love as an ethical practice shaped by history and relation.
This month, we will read from bell hooks' All About Love, "Chapter 8, Community: Loving Communion."
Photocopies of the text will be provided for all attendees.
Masks are required.
