About the event

The Reading Room is a casual, welcoming, and creative gathering dedicated to studying the works of Black feminist writers and thinkers. Each month, we read together, sit with big ideas, and open space for conversation, reflection, and connection.

For December, we continue our study on Solidarity and Survival by reading a letter from Pat Parker to Audre Lorde, found in Sister Love. This correspondence between two Black feminist giants invites us to think about care, truth-telling, and the work of showing up for one another.

Photocopies of the text will be provided for all attendees.

Masks are required to ensure a safe and shared space.

All are welcome.
