About the event
The Reading Room is a casual, welcoming and creative gathering dedicated to studying the works of Black feminist writers and thinkers. Each month, we select a powerful piece of literature to read and discuss together, delving into ideas that challenge, inspire, and transform.
For May's Reading Room we will read from Alice Walkers In Search of Our Mother's Gardens: Womanist Prose
Photocopies of the text will be provided for all attendees.
Masks are required at to ensure a safe, shared space.
