How I Found My Feet Again is a standalone installation and performance series that intertwines my mental health journey, spiritual and movement practices, and ancestral lineage. Approached as a ritualistic process, the work explores themes of Black rest, care, and radical madness as a response to the societal pressures faced by Black women and girls. Central to this project are installations I call DreamSpaces—a concept inspired by author and activist Tricia Hersey. These immersive spaces, created using dance, video, costuming, text, and visual art, bridge the gap between current reality and a more liberated world I dream to live in.

This Lab-in-Progress explores my ongoing research into engaging in rituals. Participants are invited to first witness me move through a ritual, then take part in a ritual I offer, which may include some movement or expression through their personal or artistic practice.
