Free Verse: A Writing Workshop

In honor of National Poetry Month, House of the Lorde presents Free Verse, our annual writing workshop dedicated to the power of poetic expression. Facilitated by our 2025 Eros Artist Fellow, Fullamusu Bangura, this gathering invites folks to explore language as liberation, memory, and movement. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or simply curious, come write, share, and reflect in community.

About Fullamusu Bangura

Musu Bangura is an artist originally from Washington, D.C. and currently residing in Chicago, Illinois. They are the author of the essay-book “…Considers Lil’ Kim’s Hard Core.” Their work has been published in New Delta Review, Apogee Journal, Southeast Review, and more.
