4 Week Session | $149 Sundays, Oct 6 - Oct 27 House of the Lorde | 2233 S. Throop St Suite 502 Maximum: 10 | Minimum 5 Join legendary performance artist Po'Chop in a 4 week class series diving into drag king artistry. This introduction to drag king performance focuses on providing tools to tap into your inner Drag King. Each week participants will explore a different component that makes up a noteworthy drag performance. Class Breakdown Week 1: Embodying a Persona Week 2: Lip Sync Week 3: Visual Transformation (Make Up) Week 4: Putting It All Together Participants should wear comfortable clothes to move in. Folks of all identities and skill and mobility levels are welcome. Accommodations and modifications can be provided. Masks are to be worn for the first week. Afterwards participants will be provided 3 antigen tests to be administered prior to arriving to class. Participants should wear comfortable clothes to move in and a journal for note taking. Two scholarship slots per class are reserved to accommodate Black, Indigenous, People of Color and Queer folks who want to enroll in class but money is a barrier.
