4 Week Session | $125 Sundays, February 5 - February 26 4:00 - 5: 00 PM (60 mins) House of the Lorde | 2233 S. Throop St Suite 502 Maximum: 12 Participants | Minimum 5 Participants Join legendary performance artist Po'Chop in a 4 week class series diving into drag king performance. This introduction to drag king focuses on providing tools to tap into your inner Drag King. Participants will explore components that make up a noteworthy Drag King performance from character development, movement and physicality to costuming and beyond. Participants should wear comfortable clothes to move in and a journal for note taking. Folks of all identities and skill levels are welcome. Two scholarship slots per class are reserved to accommodate Black, Indigenous, People of Color and Queer folks who want to enroll in class but money is a barrier. Scholarship application available at www.houseofthelorde.com/scholarship Masks are to be worn at all times.
